Music Groups
Adult Choir
The Adult Choir meets weekly (Wednesday at 7:00 pm, Tuesday at 7:00 pm during Advent & Lent) and sings about every other Sunday. This group helps to lead the congregation’s song by teaching new hymns and singing the propers of the day, as well as singing anthems to emphasize the theme of the day.
This group is open to everyone High School age and up, with younger members admitted on a case-by-case basis.
Handbell Choir
The Handbell Choir meets weekly (Wednesday at 6:00 pm, Tuesday at 6:00 pm during Advent & Lent) and plays several times a year. This group helps to lead the congregation’s song by leading the Litany during our Advent and Lenten Mid-Week services, as well as playing pieces appropriate to the season.
This group is open to everyone High School age and up, with younger members admitted on a case-by-case basis.
Children’s Choir
The Children’s Choir meets weekly on Mondays at 6pm. The goal of this group is to teach children the Faith using music and is made up of grade school aged children.
Senior High Youth Choir
This group rehearses as needed and sings about four times a year. This group is made up of members of the Senior High Youth Group.
Brass Choir
This group practices as necessary and plays for such festivals as Reformation, Easter, and Pentecost. This group is open to anyone who plays a brass instrument.
